KEY FEATURES

  • Class 2 annealed copper conductor; PVC/A insulation and PVC ST1/ST2 sheath.

  • Construction schedule: 1.5-1000 mm² single core sizes; maximum conductor operating temperature 70°C.

  • Unarmoured construction with brown or blue insulation and black sheath; other colours and specified sheath options are available on request.

SELECTION NOTES

  • Specify circuit voltage, conductor size, circuit arrangement, route, length and termination requirements. Apply installation, ambient temperature and grouping corrections to the published reference ratings.

  • For AC circuits, confirm cable spacing, formation and mounting arrangements with the project designer. Use the bending radius and short circuit limits for the selected conductor size and shape.

  • Confirm the required flame test and sheath options with BURY CABLE. PVC and optional LSPVC do not establish a halogen-free or fire-resistant rating.

FAQ

Does this cable contain armour?

No. Mechanical protection must be provided by the installation where needed.

Which sizes are listed?

The construction schedule covers 1.5-1000 mm². Confirm availability and ratings for the exact size; the electrical reference tables may cover a different range.

Is this a 90°C XLPE cable?

No. This product uses PVC insulation and has a maximum conductor operating temperature of 70°C.

Can I use the tabulated current directly?

Only after checking the stated installation method, temperature, circuit arrangement and applicable correction factors.

What should I send for a quotation?

Send the conductor size, quantity, route conditions, sheath options, required tests, drum lengths and delivery destination to BURY CABLE.
